Visited on a Thursday night and the restaurant was very busy. Was originally going to go for Chinese food but they had 19oz sizzling sirloin steaks on the menu and my wife and I couldn't resist. So glad we did as the steaks were massive and very tender, apparently from Knox's butcher next door, which I wouldn't doubt due to the quality. Included were chips, mushrooms, onions and peas if desired and side of pepper sauce or gravy. Great steak and trimmings for around £30. Highly recommended, as the service was excellent as usual.

Really enjoyed the food here, we did a couple dishes of sizzling chow mein and it was delicious. Good portions and a great meal before a cold night of watching a rugby match.

Spent a Sunday evening here with two sons and have to say we were very impressed. We had two hot and sour soups and three different main courses. All the food was of excellent quality with generous portions and although short staffed we were served promptly and the waitress was very courteous and polite. Our party left contented with our bellies full and would confidently recommend.😊😊😊

This is the best wee hidden gem of a Chinese in portadown..I moved Belfast 20 years ago and when I go out for Chinese I go here every time wee want go and sit in for food..very good quality food and very tasty...I recommend here very much..😀

We have eaten in this restaurant a few time I have to say the food is delicious. The staff are very polite and food /drinks are excellent value for money. We sat in the restaurant although there is a carryout service available. I would certainly recommend the New Mandarin to my friends.

We come here every now and again and came here for dinner for my husbands birthday. The food is always 100% on point. Taste is amazing. We all got various dishes including vegetarian, chicken, seafood etc. Amazing food and staff lovely and friendly as always. Totally recommend.
